The Advancing Heroes Fund, at the Valley Community Foundation (VCF) will support the educational growth of Valley Emergency Medical personnel, in the form of awarded grants toward advanced training to transition from EMT to Paramedic in order to encourage skilled and experienced practitioners to advance their training and continue to serve our communities.

In addition to accepting direct donations as part of the Valley Community Foundation, the Advancing Heroes Fund has several fundraisers throughout the year, including our wildly popular Weekends of Adventure and our Fantasy Gala on July 19. Tickets are on sale now for both events, so friends can gather together to celebrate an amazing man and make the world a slightly better place!

Our Story
On July 8th, 2022, Jeff passed away unexpectedly and suddenly at the age of 54 leaving behind not only his family but a large community of fellow healthcare providers who admired his selfless and compassionate way of caring for others. This fund was created to honor his memory. Jeff believed everyone deserved to be taken care of and we are preserving his legacy by helping those who help others.
